By submitting this application, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

No Guarantee of Entry: This application does not guarantee acceptance into the race or participation as an official runner for The Ellie Ruby Foundation (ERF). Selection and entry are contingent upon meeting all eligibility requirements and the discretion of the Foundation.

Fundraising Obligation: As a participant, I understand that I am required to raise a minimum of $5,000 in donations for The Ellie Ruby Foundation to fulfill my fundraising obligation as an ERF runner for this year's event. Should I fail to meet this target through fundraising efforts, I agree to personally cover any shortfall to ensure the $5,000 requirement is met.

Payment Authorization: If my application to run for The Ellie Ruby Foundation is approved, I hereby authorize The Ellie Ruby Foundation to charge the credit card provided in this submission a non-refundable fee of $36 to secure and hold my reservation for the race. I understand that this charge is not refundable under any circumstances.

Charge for Shortfall: In the event that I fail to raise the required $5,000 in funds before the marathon, I authorize The Ellie Ruby Foundation to charge my provided credit card the remaining balance necessary to meet the fundraising requirement.

Binding Commitment: By submitting this application, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with the terms outlined above.
