Alexandra Giantini Larsen is currently a chief neurosurgery resident at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She attended Johns Hopkins for college and Harvard for medical school.

Alexandra was involved in Ellie’s care since July of 2020 when Ellie was first diagnosed with a brain tumor. Over the last few years, Alexandra has witnessed Ellie’s incredible strength and determination in navigating her medical journey. When given the opportunity to run on the Ellie Ruby Foundation NYC Marathon team in 2024, Alexandra was inspired by Ellie who conquers all challenges that she encounters.

It has been a privilege for Alexandra to be involved in Ellie’s medical care, and she is honored to represent an amazing child and family that is dedicated to improving the lives of other children with brain tumors.
