Giving Recognition
The Ellie Ruby Foundation makes an annual grant to Memorial Sloan Kettering in honor of The Ellie Ruby Nursing Excellence Award recipient. The Award recognizes a nurse that goes above and beyond the expectations of the role through his/her care and compassion for his/her patients.

The $50,000 we have granted to MSK have funded pediatric cancer research, tuition assistance for nurses pursing higher education, and presents for children receiving treatment.
MSK nurses receive a weekly snack box delivery with assorted tasty and healthy treats as a small token of our appreciation for all that they do for our children.
Funding Research
The Ellie Ruby Foundation has granted $200,000 to The Children’s Brain Tumor Project to support their research efforts to find cures for rare pediatric brain cancer.
Providing Financial & EMOTIONAL Assistance
The Ellie Ruby Foundation has provided over $15,000 of financial support to ten families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis. The funds are being used to help pay bills and create memories on family vacations. We have connected families with social workers, therapists, and other families that have faced similar circumstances, to support their emotional needs during their journey. We have sponsored spa days for mom’s that are so focused on their children that they have little time for themselves.
